Peter did a great job on a range of projects around our house including installing shelving, modifying gates, fixing fencing and securing furniture to walls. Within a day he’d skilfully completed everything we threw at him- we should have got him in sooner! All work was undertaken with great care and he was very accommodating with all our requests. We’re glad to have finally found a reliable local handy-person and will definitely use him again.

We wanted to sell our home to have it ready for sale within a few weeks and needed a reliable handyman to complete a number of jobs in and around our house. We called Local Handy Guy and met Peter who was friendly and professional. He provided us with a free quote and within a few days we decided to go ahead with some work. Peter diligently removed five large cracked tiles inside our front doorway entrance without breaking any surrounding tiles! He retiled the area and did a great job colour matching our grout which was 12 years old. Peter also pressure washed our dirty front driveway and steps and our backyard and made it look like new again. He also realigned our wonky front fence pavers and sourced a wooden strip that was missing at our stairwell. I called Local Handy Guy to get advice on my security door issue as I couldn’t open the security door to get back in, once outside. As a pensioner I didn’t have a great deal to spend to fix it. I was impressed with the diagnosis and honesty as Peter explained that it was just the handle mechanism that was worn out after pulling it apart. He offered to spend time sourcing a replacement handle. That said, it would have been easier for Peter to say that I needed a whole handle and lock mechanism. Because of his integrity and the huge cost saving I was also able to have Peter replace my hard-to-open leaky garden tap and fix my broken front gate latch. Peter from Local Handy Guy took on a number of handyman duties whilst we were renovating our home in Kew. He restored our original skirting boards to practically new condition, repaired and painted several rooms and undertook various other jobs to help bring our home back to life.
